ALEJANDRO

Customizing each session to his client’s style, preferences and needs.

Alejandro is a Colombian-born Canadian citizen who traveled to Boulder solely for the purpose of learning the trade of massage therapy. After thriving successfully for 10 years, Alejandro moved to the greater Austin Area to share his passion in an area closer to family.

Throughout his life, Alejandro has competed at high levels as an athlete in both organized sport and just for fun. He understands the tolls stress and life events can take on the body. He has personal experience being treated and treating many ailments, relieving pain symptoms, down regulating the nervous system and eliciting the relaxation response.

Throughout his massage career, Alejandro has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Alejandro to utilize his training and extensive life experience to tailor each massage session to the needs of his clients. From treatment-oriented bodywork, the soothing and relaxing Swedish massage with fluid three dimensional contact and to accessing a more energy-based multilayered approach of Reiki and chakra balancing, Alejandro loves blending styles and using the tools he has learned to better fit the needs of his clients.

Alejandro graduated from the 1,000-hour program at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2008, and received his Associates in Occupational Studies (AOS) in 2009.

Alejandro’s gifts range far and wide; his presence, smile and welcoming demeanor will always make you feel at ease. In his spare time he loves to spend time in his garden, learning, camping, exercising by playing, yoga and contemplating the meaning of life’s little wonders.

JAYELLE

Assisting those on a path of self-care and wellness is a core desire in my work.  I am here as a partner, because together we create the spaces for healing and experiences of greater ease. Each session is tailored to the needs of my client in that moment, and it is with a combination of technique, knowledge and intuition that I address those concerns and requests.  I approach my work with professionalism and care, met with compassion and a gentle nature.
I cannot make anyone feel better, but I can help if you want to feel better!

◦◦◦◦◦ Style and Pressure ◦◦◦◦◦
My touch is often described as gentle, delicate and soothing, and my approach as professional, detailed and attentive. I approach the body with light to medium pressure, and engage with both the physical tissue and the electrical field of the client. I employ a variety of techniques and modalities to bring about change, unique to each client and each session.

◦◦◦◦◦ Specialties ◦◦◦◦◦
– TMJ focus: This work focuses on releasing restrictions in the jaws, mouth and surrounding areas for greater range of motion and comfort of movement. It is achieved by working with the muscles, connective tissues and bony structures of the head, face, mouth and neck.   Techniques are light and gentle, combining elements of craniosacral therapy and myofascial release.  Muscles may be addressed from inside of the mouth (intraoral) as part of the session. The client will remain fully clothed for the session.

– Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB): This is a gentle, active and non-invasive form of hands-on therapy.  Techniques are grounded in craniosacral therapy and myofascial unwinding.  DBB is performed with gentle & flowing movement, mobilizing the body to first identify restrictions and then to work through releases within the connective tissue and muscles.
DBB is performed clothed and either seated, standing or lying down. Sessions are focused on a target area of the body such as the hips, pelvis, torso, shoulders, neck or head.  Goals for these sessions are increased range and quality of motion, decreased pain and tension, stronger core balance, physical stability, energetic groundedness, and emotional healing.
There is a strong energetic element to Dynamic Body Balancing.  Emotional release may occur if the root causes of physical restrictions are from emotional stressors.

JO

Jo is a lifelong learner who reignited her massage career in 2023 after many years in corporate project management.

She understands the stresses that desk work puts on our bodies and, as a mom of two, the unique challenges of parenting.

Jo’s massage style is intuitive, with each session tailored to the client’s specific needs.  She incorporates stretches and Myofascial Release into her Swedish and Deep Tissue work, particularly benefiting computer users looking to improve their posture and parents managing tension from holding their children.

An Austin resident since 2009, Jo holds a neuroscience degree from MIT and has trained at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing, with John F. Barnes, and at Austin Community College.

In 2024, she became Usui Reiki certified, expanding her practice to include energy work.

Jo is fascinated by the mind-body connection and how consciousness can shape physical reality.  In each session, she collaborates with clients to create a shared intention, holding space for their unique journey toward health and well being.

Bree - advanced massage therapist - live love relax massageBREE

Bree - advanced massage therapist - live love relax massageBree - advanced massage therapist - live love relax massageBorn and raised in Austin, TX, Bree carries the spirit of old Austin – welcoming, down-to-earth, and a little quirky. Since graduating from the New Beginning School of Massage in 2017, she’s been dedicated to the healing art of massage. For Bree, this isn’t just a job – it’s her calling, a career that satisfies her soul in ways past desk jobs in EMS and Medicaid Transportation billing never could.

Bree brings warm hands, an intuitive touch, and finely tuned palpation skills to every session. Her knowledge of the muscular and fascial systems, along with a deep understanding of pain and tension, allows her to adapt to what each client needs – whether that’s deep, therapeutic work or a lighter, grounding massage to help you reconnect with your center. She’s trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology, acupressure and cupping.

Her approach is always client-centered: Bree listens first then tailors the session to support your healing. Whether you’re dealing with chronic tension, headaches, lower back or hip pain, neck and shoulder tightness, or just need a relaxing escape, Bree is here to hold space and help you feel renewed and refreshed. She also has a special fondness for working with hands and feet, and loves connecting with folks who are new to massage or part of her tribe of beautifully quirky women, aged 30-70+.

To Bree, every massage is a chance to help not just one person, but the community – because when we feel better in our bodies, we move through the world with more ease, compassion and joy.

Peace be with all of us. May we stay blessed in the light throughout our journeys.

LAUREN

Lauren became a massage therapist after experiencing firsthand the healing benefits of bodywork and other holistic modalities while navigating her own journey with chronic illness. Having also been an athlete and worked in corporate environments, she understands the unique aches and pains that come with both active lifestyles and desk-bound work.

Her approach combines compassion and skill while bringing presence and levity to each session, drawing from Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and fascial techniques to create sessions tailored to each client’s needs.

Whether you’re seeking therapeutic relief from chronic tension or simply looking to unwind from the stressors of everyday life, she’s excited to be part of your health and wellness journey.

When she’s not working, you can find Lauren listening to live music, spending time with family and friends, and exploring all that Austin has to offer!

“I believe your body’s ability to heal is greater than you’ve been led to believe, and I’m here to support you in discovering that strength within yourself while facilitating your body’s inherent healing abilities.”

SHIRLEY

I have been licensed since 2010, and my passion for healing touch has only deepened over the years.

I am married, blessed with children and grandchildren, and surrounded by a lively household of pampered pets. I have cats, dogs, and any creature that wanders by, much to my husband’s amusement and occasional dismay.  I would have a full-blown zoo if I could!
When I am not working or caring for animals, you will find me devouring books or tuning into podcasts that feed my curiosity and soul.

MEREDITH

I am a born and raised Austinite. I believe in full body wellness by combining movement and massage. I am a certified Pilates instructor and a licensed massage therapist. I believe if we create the right environment that our bodies can heal naturally.

I would describe my style as deep Swedish, combining the best of both worlds.  Swedish to warm and relax, then applying deeper techniques to really work into those trouble spots.  My massages can be relaxing yet effective.   If we can calm the nervous system, then the body will have an easier time releasing and counteracting the effects of stress.

I also believe incorporating a movement practice (yoga, pilates, weight training etc…) actually helps to extend the effects of massage! You want to release areas of tightness AND strengthen areas of weakness. This helps to promote balance in the body.

In my free time I enjoy reading, board games, spoiling my cat and walking my dog.
