Meet our Team

ALEJANDRO

Live Love Relax Team

Customizing each session to his client’s style, preferences and needs.

Alejandro is a Colombian-born Canadian citizen who traveled to Boulder solely for the purpose of learning the trade of massage therapy. After thriving successfully for 10 years, Alejandro moved to the greater Austin Area to share his passion in an area closer to family.

Throughout his life, Alejandro has competed at high levels as an athlete in both organized sport and just for fun. He understands the tolls stress and life events can take on the body. He has personal experience being treated and treating many ailments, relieving pain symptoms, down regulating the nervous system and eliciting the relaxation response.

Throughout his massage career, Alejandro has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Alejandro to utilize his training and extensive life experience to tailor each massage session to the needs of his clients. From treatment-oriented bodywork, the soothing and relaxing Swedish massage with fluid three dimensional contact and to accessing a more energy-based multilayered approach of Reiki and chakra balancing, Alejandro loves blending styles and using the tools he has learned to better fit the needs of his clients.

Alejandro graduated from the 1,000-hour program at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2008, and received his Associates in Occupational Studies (AOS) in 2009.

Alejandro’s gifts range far and wide; his presence, smile and welcoming demeanor will always make you feel at ease. In his spare time he loves to spend time in his garden, learning, camping, exercising by playing, yoga and contemplating the meaning of life’s little wonders.

JAYELLE

I became a massage therapist because I want to assist those who have chosen a path of self-care and wellness.  I want to be a partner in my clients’ journeys, encouraging and aiding them in their unwinding of tension and pain, creating space for them to feel ease from within their bodies.

My aim is to tailor each massage to my client’s needs in that moment- combining technique, knowledge and intuition to address their concerns and requests for the session.  I approach my work with professionalism and care, met with compassion and a gentle nature.

I cannot make anyone feel better, but I can help if you want to feel better!

▪◦ Style and Pressure ◦▪
My touch is often described as gentle, delicate and soothing, and my approach as professional, detailed and attentive.
My natural massage firmness is delivered at a medium weight. Utilizing a variety of techniques, I can deliver medium-heavy firmness as well as deep tissue work to target areas upon client request and need.

▪◦ Specialties ◦▪

– TMJ focus: This work focusing on the release of pain & tension in the mouth & cheeks is achieved by working with the muscles, connective tissues and bony structures of the head, face, mouth and neck.   Techniques are hands-on, light, and gentle, combining elements of craniosacral therapy and myofascial release.  Tension is  addressed from the inside of the client’s mouth (intraoral) as part of the session.

The client will remain fully clothed for the session, and will be positioned lying face up and then seated.

– Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB): This is a gentle, active and non-invasive form of hands-on therapy.  Techniques are grounded in CranioSacral Therapy and Myofascial Unwinding.  DBB is performed with gentle & flowing movement, mobilizing your body & allowing it to release restrictions and tension within the connective tissue and muscles.

DBB is performed clothed & seated, standing or lying down. Sessions are focused on restrictions in a target area of the body such as the hips, pelvis, torso, shoulders, neck or head.  Possible outcomes are increased range of motion, decreased pain and tension, a stronger sense of core balance, stability and groundedness, and emotional healing.

There is a strong energetic element to Dynamic Body Balancing.  Emotional release may occur as energy flow is re-established, if the root causes of physical restrictions are from emotional stressors.

TIER

Tier is a former pro athlete who became a licensed massage therapist to share her passion with others for health and wellness.

“My firm belief is that everyone is an athlete. In life, we are all striving for something and we all deserve the best possible care.”

Her modalities range from Structural Integrative and medical techniques to more of a restorative nature of relaxation.

“The body was created to heal itself, my goal is to encourage that process through touch and soft tissue work, not to work against the system that already exists”

Her passions outside of her career are: fitness, outdoor activities, finding coffee spots, unplugging from social media and being present with others, the arts, live music, food, connecting and learning cultures and travel.

“There is so much to be explored in the world that surrounds us. Creativity gives us a pathway to expression and it comes in many forms. It would be a shame to miss that because I didn’t look up from my phone.”

SOPHIA, LAc

Sophia, LAc -Live Love Relax Massage + Wellness

I am an acupuncturist with a passion for bringing natural healing to the Austin
community.  My journey into the world of Chinese medicine began in Taiwan, where I
was immersed in the rich traditions of herbal medicine from an early age.  Growing up
surrounded by my family’s Chinese herbal pharmacies, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of ancient healing practices.

After obtaining my Physical Therapy (PT) license in Taiwan in 2017, I found incredible reward in helping patients regain their mobility and alleviate their pain.  However, my
heart was always drawn to the holistic approach of acupuncture and Chinese herbal
medicine.  In 2019, I made the bold decision to pursue my dream of becoming an
acupuncturist, relocating to Austin to embark on this new chapter of my career.  I
graduated from Texas Health and Science University and obtained Texas Acupuncture license in 2022.

My background in PT complements my skills in acupuncture, allowing me to offer a
comprehensive approach to pain management and holistic wellness.  I specialize in
relieving pain and tension through acupuncture, often incorporating techniques such as fire cupping and e-stimulation for enhanced therapeutic effects.

I take the time to understand the root cause, offering personalized treatment plans that may include posture correction, strengthening exercises, and stretching routines.

In addition to my general practice, I am deeply committed to women’s health care.
Drawing from my own experiences as a woman, I empathize with the challenges of
menstrual discomfort and hormonal imbalances.  Through acupuncture, herbal formulas, and moxibustion, I have helped countless women find relief from conditions such as PMS, irregular periods, dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, and pre-menopausal symptoms.

My goal is to create a friendly, confidential and genuine medical environment and help
people achieve mental and physical health naturally, I believe this is the core value of
Chinese medicine and I am eager to bring this passion to everyone.
