Live Love Relax Massage & Wellness ("Live Love Relax," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to liveloverelax.com and to information we collect when you book, purchase, or receive services from us.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and booking information: name, email address, phone number, mailing or service address, appointment preferences, and practitioner preference.
  • Health and intake information: injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy status, allergies, medications, areas of concern, pressure preferences, and session notes. We collect this only to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. For memberships, we retain the authorization record for recurring Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Employment information: if you apply through our Career page, we collect your resume, work history, licensing and certification details, and anything else you choose to send.
  • Communications: emails, text messages, contact form submissions, voicemails, and reviews or messages you send through our social media accounts.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring site, and time spent on the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep the site working properly, remember preferences, and measure traffic and advertising performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, confirm, remind, reschedule, and deliver your appointments.
  • To provide safe and appropriate care based on your health intake.
  • To process payments, memberships, and gift cards.
  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To send appointment-related messages by email or text.
  • To send promotions, offers, and news, only if you have opted in.
  • To evaluate job applications.
  • To improve our website, services, and marketing.
  • To keep records required by law, including those we are required to keep as a licensed massage establishment in Texas.
  • To protect our clients, staff, and business, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your health or intake information for advertising purposes.

3. Health and Intake Information

We treat your health and intake information as confidential. Access is limited to the practitioner providing your care and to staff who need it for scheduling or records management. We do not disclose it to third parties except with your consent, or where required by law, court order, or to prevent serious harm.

Live Love Relax is generally not a HIPAA covered entity, because we do not bill health insurance electronically. Even so, we handle your health information with the confidentiality it deserves, and we comply with Texas law governing massage therapy client records. If we ever begin billing insurance, we will update this policy.

4. Service Providers We Share Information With

We share only what is necessary with the providers that help us run the business. Each is bound to protect the information we share.

  • Scheduling platform: we use Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company) to manage bookings, intake forms, and reminders. See the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
  • Payment processing and gift cards: we use Square to process payments and sell gift cards. See the Square Privacy Notice.
  • Email and text communication: we use Google Workspace (Gmail) for business correspondence, Mailgun as our email delivery service, and HighLevel (GoHighLevel) as our customer relationship and marketing platform for appointment reminders, follow-up, and, where you have opted in, promotional messages. See the Google Privacy Policy, the Mailgun Privacy Policy, and the HighLevel Privacy Policy.
  • Website hosting and security: our host stores site data and server logs.
  • Analytics and advertising: described in the next section.
  • Professional advisors: accountants, attorneys, and insurers, where reasonably needed.
  • Legal and safety: law enforcement or regulators where required by law, and in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to make the site work. Others help us understand traffic and measure the performance of our advertising.

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which places a cookie and reports website activity back to Meta. This lets us measure ad results and show ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you. You can manage this through your Facebook Ad Preferences.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

6. Marketing Messages

We send promotional email only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly.

If you have given us your mobile number and consented to text messages, we may send appointment reminders and occasional offers. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts. Message and data rates may apply.

Even after you opt out of marketing, we will still send transactional messages such as appointment confirmations, reminders, and billing notices.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

  • Client and intake records: retained for at least the period required by Texas massage therapy regulations, and generally no longer than seven years after your last appointment unless a longer period is required.
  • Payment and membership records: retained as required for tax and accounting purposes, generally seven years.
  • Job applications: retained up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Marketing contacts: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
  • Website logs and analytics: retained on the schedules set by our host and analytics providers.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including secure transmission of our website, limited staff access on a need-to-know basis, secure storage of paper and electronic records, and reputable vendors for payments and scheduling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data in a readily usable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.

To exercise a right, email info@liveloverelax.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," or write to us at the address above. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary. There is no fee for a reasonable request.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. We will answer an appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General.

Note that some records, particularly health and financial records, must be retained for a legally required period even after a deletion request.

If you are a resident of another state or country with additional privacy rights, contact us and we will honor rights that apply to you.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Minor clients are served only with the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian as required, and any information we collect for a minor client comes from that parent or guardian.
